Our Story
It started on a rainy Tuesday in London. Our founder, like many pet parents, was rushing to work feeling guilty about leaving their dog home alone. "There has to be a better way," they thought. That moment sparked what would become My Good Friend.

What began as a small idea in a Shoreditch flat has grown into something pretty special. We're a team of pet lovers, tech enthusiasts, and problem-solvers based in London, all united by one simple belief: technology should bring us closer to our pets, not create distance.

We noticed most "smart" pet products were either too complicated, too expensive, or just... not that smart. So we set out to find the coolest, most innovative pet gadgets from around the world – things that actually work, that pets actually enjoy, and that make pet parenting genuinely easier.

Today, we're proud to be your go-to spot for viral-worthy smart pet gadgets. From automatic feeders that actually understand feeding schedules to interactive cameras that let you play with your cat from across town, we test everything ourselves before it reaches your door.

Every product on our site has passed the "real pet test" – meaning we've had actual dogs and cats try them out. If our four-legged testers aren't impressed, it doesn't make the cut. Simple as that.
